The Rotary Club of Montecito Foundation, Inc. was established in 1995 as a non-profit corporation complying with Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS.Grants are awarded twice each year from funds managed by the Foundation.

The 2011-2012 Foundation Grant Year is on a Fiscal Calendar Year.   

Grant Applications

Grant Applications are available on the Montecito Rotary Club Web Site (below) or can be obtained Tuesday afternoons at one of the Montecito Rotary Club weekly meetings.

You may mail completed grant applications to: The Montecito Rotary Club Foundation, Post Office Box 40218, Santa Barbara, CA 93140 before the posted deadline date.

Grant Applications for the first round of grant dispersement for 2011-2012 will be accepted for consideration after July 1, 2011.

No Grant Applications for the  first round of grant dispersements for 2011-2012 will be accepted for consideration after Friday, October 21st, 2011.

No Grant Applications mailed for the  first round of grant dispersements for 2011-2012 will be accepted for consideration postmarked after Friday, October 21st, 2011.

• There are two grant cycles per fiscal year. 
• Grants will usually be made in the $100 to $500 range.
• Grants from the Rotary Club of Montecito Foundation are only made to organizations with 501 (c) 3 designations. (Non 501 (c) 3 contributions must be solicited directly from the Rotary Club of Montecito).
• Traditionally the Rotary Club of Montecito Foundation does not fund capital projects or provide general operating support.
• The Foundation prefers to fund project specific requests.
• The Foundation prefers to fund local projects.
• A member of the Rotary Club of Montecito must sponsor a grant request.
• FIRST 2011-2012 GRANT CYCLE APPLICATION DEADLINE:FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21st , 2011.
• THE FOUNDATION WILL ONLY FUND FUTURE PROJECTS not projects that have already been completed. The FIRST 2011-2012 Grant Cycle will be looking at projects that need funding after July 1, 2011.
